Why Did I Make A Business

A lot of people I know who crochet actually do not sell their products, making me the odd one out. While it does make a lot of sense, it's hard to get sales and even harder to start up, especially in a world where people like quick and cheap, which do not go together in crochet.

When I first started out as a business owner, it was a "joint" business with another crocheter I knew. I found out that they could crochet because they gave her friends mini boba plushies for free. And I thought, "Hey, I can crochet, she can crochet, what if we sold crochet stuff?" and apparently, they were planning on starting a business. It worked perfectly! We quickly came up with a name and branding and planned out every detail possible, especially big holidays and events.

One fun fact about my first business is that we only used size 4 yarn, which is very different from what I use now, we also for a good two weeks sold only chonky mushroom buddies.

Enough about that why did I make a business. Well for me, it was a type of ministry. I wanted to spread the gospel in my own way and also learn some responsibility and management and have fun making things that I enjoy and make some money too.
